Almighty God, on this day you opened the way of eternal life to every race and nation by the promised gift of your Holy Spirit: Shed abroad this gift throughout the world by the preaching of the Gospel, that it may reach to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

ECA Children/Youth Christian Formation to meet This Sunday, May 19 The ECA Children/Youth CF (Sunday School) meets on the first and third Sunday of each month at 9:45am. Adult CF and Bible Challenge meet every Sunday at 9:45am. Contact Matt Reaves to learn more!
ECA Reach to Serve at Shady Grove this Wednesday, May 22 All are invited to join the ECA Reach ministry in preparing and delivering a meal to the homeless population every 4th Wednesday of the month at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Meeting at 4:30pm in the Activities Building. Travel Sized toiletries are also being collected for this outreach. See Cindy Lippert to volunteer or learn more.
No Southern Comforters this Month due to our Pentecost / Youth Celebration!
This ministry will resume in June. All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends. This ministry meets on the third Sunday of each month after services in the activities building.

Open Hearts Camp begins in June. Donations Needed! Open Hearts will take place June 17-21 & June 24-28. This camp is being held for students that have been considered homeless by Cobb County. We aim to provide a fun, safe place to spend quality time for these kids! We need volunteers as well as financial support, drinks, snacks, paper goods, and more.
