Almighty God, you have given your only Son to be for us a sacrifice for sin, and also an example of godly life: Give us grace to receive thankfully the fruits of his redeeming work, and to follow daily in the blessed steps of his most holy life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Volunteers Needed on August 17 & 18! Reach is serving lunch with Church of the Common Ground August 18 Volunteers are needed to pack lunches on Saturday, August 17 at 11am in the Activities Building; and Sunday, August 18 at 11:30am to deliver lunch at Woodruff Park (we will carpool from the church). Contact Cindy Lippert to volunteer or learn more.

Southern Comforters to meet Sunday, Aug. 18 at Noon All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends. This ministry meets on the third Sunday of each month after services in the Activities Building.  

Buildings & Grounds Meeting Monday, August 19 at 7pm All are welcome to attend this important meeting to discuss upcoming renovations/update projects. Meeting in the Activities Building at 7pm. Contact Cheryl Farr to learn more or with any questions.

ECA Reach Collecting Canned Goods for Ministries we Support ECA Supports Must Ministries and Papa’s Pantry by donating canned goods and non-perishables. Please bring donations on Sunday and place them in the baskets provided. We are also collecting travel-sized toiletries for Shady Grove Homeless Ministry.
