All Signatory Contractors: Response needed to update Powering Chicago's Contractor Directory |

Powering Chicago's website features a directory of all Local 134 Signatory Electrical Contractors in Chicago and Cook County. With the increased marketing initiatives taken by our Labor Management Cooperation Committee (LMCC), website traffic to the Contractor Directory has increased to over 14,000 visitors this year. Please help us develop a more informative resource for our customer base by completing the survey below about your Company's scope of work. Please complete this survey no later than Friday, November 6th to ensure that your listing in the directory is updated prior to Powering Chicago's next advertising campaign, which will drive people searching for electrical contractors on Google directly to the directory.

City of Chicago's Christmas Tree Lighting - November 19th |
Powering Chicago will be lighting up our City's Christmas Tree again this year! Installation of the tree and lighting work will start mid November,
with ECA Member - All-Tech Energy - hanging thousands of lights on the over 50 foot tree. Powering Chicago's Director, Elbert Walters III, along with a family from the Ronald McDonald House Charities, will light up the tree on November 19th, broadcast live on WTTW
Channel 11.
Additionally, Powering Chicago will be running a social media contest encouraging the Chicago residents to share photos of their homes all decked up for the holidays, in an effort to engage the community and raise thousands of dollars for charity.
More information to come this month leading up to the event!

CISCO Scholarships & Project of the Year Award |
CISCO’S Project of the Year Award is kicking off its 16th year of accepting applications for some of the best construction projects of the past 18 months. (June 2019 – December 2020).
The award gives general contractors, owners, engineers and architects a chance to submit projects in six different categories that include the areas of new construction, renovation/ rehabilitation, residential construction and infrastructure. The deadline for applications is 5:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2020. To download the application form, click here.
