ECA News & Events Update

HELP AT THE END OF A TERRIBLE WEEK – All of us know how hard some of our contractors have been impacted by the fury of Hurricane Ian. ELECTRI International sponsors and administers the NECA Disaster Relief Fund. ELECTRI accepts personal and corporate contributions (tax-deductible) for the dedicated Fund. Then, ELECTRI delivers the much-needed assistance directly to those affected contractors who complete a short application that is submitted through their NECA Chapter.

To request help from the Disaster Relief Fund:

To make your contribution:

  • Start at www.electri.org/contributors/neca-disaster-relief-fund .
  • Provide some simple information about you and your gift.
  • Make your check payable to ELECTRI International and write “NECA Disaster Relief Fund” in the notes section of the check.
  • Mail your check to ELECTRI International, 1201 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20004.
  • OR Call (202) 991-6261 to make a contribution via credit card.

40% IS WAY TOO HIGH - Foremen and Project Managers can spend up to 40% of their time planning materials before those materials hit the jobsite. At the same time, supply chain and price inflation challenges are adding to the risk. It’s important to learn how to improve efficiency through materials management best practices. To determine what those best practices are and how you can employ them, ELECTRI is conducting a research project focusing on material management process improvements. ELECTRI is asking for your help – right now – so we can complete this project. It’s a simple survey to get opinions and recommendations from your electrical Superintendents, Project Managers, and Foremen. It’s simple. Clicking this link takes you directly to the survey.

READ IT AND WATCH IT -- Contracting Benchmarks and Analysis, the ELECTRI research report prepared by Document Crunch is now available on the ELECTRI website.
