IBEW International President Lonnie R. Stephenson announced his Retirement; Kenneth W. Cooper has been appointed the New International President. Paul Noble has been appointed to International Secretary-Treasurer, and Mike Clemmons has been appointed to Sixth District International Vice President. 

CISCO’S Project of the Year Award kicked off its 18th year of accepting applications for some of the best construction projects of the past 18 months, through May 2021 – December 2022. The award gives general contractors, owners, engineers and architects a chance to submit projects in six (6) different categories, which include the areas of new construction, renovation/rehabilitation, residential construction and infrastructure. Deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022. IMSCA’s “post-Election Day” report is available via the link. This report includes an overview of the election; including a compiled list outlining the status of the election results. As stated in the report, there are several races that have not been officially called. Votes are still being counted including mail-in, early voting and provisional ballots. In some cases, the results may not be known for a couple of weeks. IMSCA members will be updated accordingly once the results are finalized.
