2022 Pledge Campaign "Every Perfect Gift" update
Our Pledge campaign is coming to a close soon. At this time, we have 91 pledges for $229,268 that have been made so far for our 2022 budget year with 11 new pledges received to date. We ask all those who have not turned in their pledge yet, please prayerfully consider your pledge gift and turn your pledge in as soon as possible in order for us to finalize our 2022 ministry budget. We are very thankful for all who continue to support our ministry together.

Journeys Group this Saturday at 11:30am
This is a group that offers support, care, and compassion to those coping with grief, loss or any difficult life challenge. If you are seeking support through fellowship, please join us the second Saturday of each month from 11:30am-12:30 in the Activity Building. Christmas Poinsettias and Flower Contributions
If you would like to make a contribution for Christmas poinsettias, greens, etc. please fill out one of forms in the plastic box beneath the altar flower chart in the narthex. Simply indicate whether your gift is "in memory of" or "in thanksgiving for." The amount is voluntary (suggested donation $25). Thank you for your gift!
ECA Single Ladies & Church Widows Fellowship December 9 & 14 Our December Single Ladies and Church Widows Fellowship will have their Luncheon on December 9that 11:30am, and dinner on December 14that 5:30pm.  Locations TBD. Caregivers Support Group to Meet Tuesday, December 14 via Zoom A Caregivers Support Group has started at ECA: Second Tuesday of each Month at 7:30pm If you are involved with the care of someone with a terminal or chronic illness, you are invited to join a support group offering support, connection, resources, and coping strategies. This group is led by Robin Racoff, an experienced Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. This group is for caregivers, no patients please. It’s Time for the Annual ECA Children’s Christmas Pageant If you have children or grandchildren who are interested in participating in the Christmas Pageant this year, please contact Robin Keith [email protected]. This year’s pageant will include scripture readings, signing, and stand in characters. Children will dress up in costumes.  There are various roles – open to all who wish to participate! No rehearsals this year.  Please be available the day of the service (service starts at 5 pm Christmas Eve).
Fire Pit & Caroling Social Event Saturday Dec. 18 at 4:30PM Here we come a’caroling! Mark your calendar and join us December 18 at 4:30 pm on the grounds for a fire, Christmas music, caroling and s'mores! We’ll supply the fixings for the s'mores. You bring a chair and your drink of choice. We also have it on good authority a jolly ole' man in a red suit from the North Pole will be joining us! Bring your children of all ages, grandchildren and friends for a fun evening. ... and don’t forget your Christmas sweaters!

Yes, the highly anticipated Pecan Sale is back! All the proceeds of pecan sales go to support the activities of ECA's Episcopal Church Women, a group whose purpose is to foster fellowship amongst all the women of ECA.  Despite rising prices, we will keep the per bag cost at $10, and can take cash (if you have exact change) or a check. Many thanks to Penny Capawana for coordinating the ordering; Bliss Peterson will be coordinating sales, so contact her with any questions at (678) 662-0508 or [email protected].  The sale will continue for several weeks as long as there is interest. We often sell out week to week, so contact Bliss during the week to set some aside for you if you want to be sure to get them on Sunday! Vestry Nominations Open for 2022: We are Seeking those who feel Called to Serve. Those interested in serving on Vestry at ECA, please contact Wanda Ziembinski, Jamie Hreha, or Fr. Paul. Vestry is a 3-year commitment and meets once a month with a retreat in January. Vestry qualifications are: any confirmed communicant in good standing of the parish not less than 18yrs of age, a regular attendant of church services the preceding year before election, and known by the treasurer to have made and fulfilled a stated financial commitment for church support throughout preceding year before election.

ECA’s own Book Club will be starting up anew in January 2022. Seating is limited, so book lovers please contact Lillian Stanton at [email protected] if you are interested. Please note your preference as to afternoon or evenings. We will be meeting in the Swift building, reading one book a month, contemporary literature as well as classics, and non-fiction. At the January meeting we will draw up reading list for the rest of the year. Be prepared to lead the discussion on your suggested book. Also, please send me your suggestions for the January book. We try to select books which are available at the Public Library, thus limiting expenses.

Reach Collecting Food items for Local Food Pantries 
ECA is supporting local charities such as Never Alone and Papa’s Pantry in their food ministries. We are also collecting travel sized toiletries. You are welcome to come by on Sundays to drop off these much-needed items, or drive-by the office during the week. Thank you for your continued generosity and support of helping those in need!
