Our Pledge campaign is in full swing now. At this time we have 69 pledges that have beem made so far for our 2022 budget year with 8 new pledges received to date. We ask all those who have not turned in their plege yet to please prayerfully consider your pledge gift and turn your pledge in as soon as possible in order for us to finalize our 2022 ministry budget.

Adult Christian Formation this Sunday

Southern Comforters to Meet This Sunday, November 21 after Services All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends. This ministry meets on the third Sunday of each month after services in the activities building.
Reach Serving the Homeless Population at Shady Grove Wednesday, November 24 at 4pm All are invited to join the ECA Reach ministry in preparing and delivering a meal to the homeless population every 4th Wednesday of the month at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Travel Sized toiletries are also being collected for this outreach. Please contact Molly Lippert for more info.

Yes, the highly anticipated Pecan Sale is back! All the proceeds of pecan sales go to support the activities of ECA's Episcopal Church Women, a group whose purpose is to foster fellowship amongst all the women of ECA.  Despite rising prices, we will keep the per bag cost at $10, and can take cash (if you have exact change) or a check. Many thanks to Penny Capawana for coordinating the ordering; Bliss Peterson will be coordinating sales, so contact her with any questions at (678) 662-0508 or blisspeterson@gmail.com.  The sale will continue for several weeks as long as there is interest. We often sell out week to week, so contact Bliss during the week to set some aside for you if you want to be sure to get them on Sunday! Dominoes Fellowship Fri, November 26 at 7pm Join us for adult fellowship playing Mexican Train Dominoes under the pavilion! Bring your own snack and your favorite beverage. Dominoes typically meets the last Friday of each month. Newcomers are always welcome!
Advent Wreath Making Workshop November 27th at 10 am Saturday, November 27th at 10AM, our Altar Guild will host their annual Advent Wreath Workshop. Please let us know if you will participate by signing the list in the Narthex or giving us a call. We want to ensure we have enough forms and candles for everyone.  Supplies are $15. Bring clippers and greenery and get creative with us!  We can package the materials for you if you cannot attend but would like to make a wreath on your own. Any questions can be directed to Bliss Peterson at 678-662-0508 or Brenda Pinkston at 770-977-7664

ECA’s own Book Club will be starting up anew in January 2022. Seating is limited, so book lovers please contact Lillian Stanton at DrLil@att.net if you are interested. Please note your preference as to afternoon or evenings. We will be meeting in the Swift building, reading one book a month, contemporary literature as well as classics, and non-fiction. At the January meeting we will draw up reading list for the rest of the year. Be prepared to lead the discussion on your suggested book. Also, please send me your suggestions for the January book. We try to select books which are available at the Public Library, thus limiting expenses.
Ushers, Lectors and Counters Needed: Especially at the 8:30 am Service As we transition back to traditional worship, we are beginning to schedule volunteer positions again. Currently, we are in need of ushers, lectors and counters. If you are interested in volunteering on Sunday mornings, please email ecanews@bellsouth.net. Thank you!
Reach Collecting Food items for Local Food Pantries
ECA is supporting local charities such as Never Alone and Papa’s Pantry in their food ministries. We are also collecting travel sized toiletries. You are welcome to come by on Sundays to drop off these much-needed items, or drive-by the office during the week. Thank you for your continued generosity and support of helping those in need! 
A Caregivers Support Group has started at ECA: Second Tuesday of each Month at 7:30pm If you are involved with the care of someone with a terminal or chronic illness, you are invited to join a support group offering support, connection, resources, and coping strategies. This group is led by Robin Racoff, an experienced Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. This group is for caregivers, no patients please. Secret Santa Gifts this Year at ECA! Exchanged at the Greening of the Church Service: Sunday December 19th
This year we will be doing a Secret Santa exchange at the Greening of the Church event. If you would like to participate, please provide your name on the sign-up sheet in the narthex or you can email the office. We ask that you spend no more than $12 and names will be picked on Sunday Dec 5th and the gift exchange will happen December 19th
