Congratulations to Nicole File for receiving the Diocesan Bishop’s Cross
This past week at the Diocesan Annual Council, Nicole File was awarded the Bishop’s Cross for her work with her own charity “Softer Streets” and her work with our Reach committee at ECA. We want to congratulate Nicole for her accomplishments and all she does for ECA. Her hard work, with ECA’s Reach committee, also helped get the Demidovich family to the US. Way to go Nicole!

A BIG Thank You to All who Pledged of their Time, Talent & Treasure at ECA!
Thank you to all the parishioners at ECA who pledged during our 2023 “More Than Enough” Campaign. To date, we have 79 pledges that have been turned in for a total of $226,114 pledged. Please prayerfully consider your pledge if you have not turned it in yet. We hope to have an approved budget for 2023 by this December. This is great news considering how much other parishes in the diocese are struggling.

Southern Comforters Meeting & Blessing of the Blankets Sunday, Nov. 20th All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends. This ministry meets on the third Sunday of each month after services in the activities building. Fr. Paul will bless the blankets November 20th.

Pecans are Here! ECA Reach is selling Pecans just in time for the Holidays It's that time of year again! Reach is selling pecans just in time for the holidays. Reach Serving Dinner to Homeless Population at Shady Grove Wednesday, November 23 at 4pm: Volunteers Needed! All are invited to join the ECA Reach ministry in preparing and delivering a meal to the homeless population every 4th Wednesday of the month at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Travel Sized toiletries are also being collected for this outreach.

Dominoes Adult Game Night Friday November 25 at 7pm Join us for adult fellowship time playing Mexican Train Dominoes! Bring a simple snack to share and your favorite beverage. Dominoes typically meets the last Friday of each month. Newcomers are always welcome!

Advent Wreath Workshop Saturday, November. 26
Saturday, November 26th at 10AM, our Altar Guild will host their annual Advent Wreath Workshop. Please let us know if you will participate by signing the list in the Narthex or giving us a call or email. We want to ensure we have enough forms and candles for everyone. Supplies are still $15. Bring clippers and greenery and get creative with us. We can package the materials for you if you cannot attend but would like to make a wreath on your own. Have You Accepted the Bible Challenge?
Anyone is welcome to join our challenge to read through the entire Bible in a year. We are using the book The Bible Challenge, by Marek Zabriskie, which contains wonderful commentary, questions for discussion, and prayers, but all you really need is access to a Bible. You don't need to catch up - jump in with us where we are. Meeting Sundays in the Nave at 9:30am.
