Stewardship 2021: “Faith Filled generosity, Taking a step forward - for Christ and his church”
This week, you should receive a letter and pledge card from Father Paul in the mail. You can also read his letter here. Over the next few weeks, ECA will feature stewardship testimonies from members of the parish detailing what stewardship means to them. You can find this information on our web-page anytime and download a pledge card there as well. This time of reflection and gratitude helps us prayerfully consider what gifts we can give back. Pledge cards will be brought to the altar and blessed on November 1st.

"They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share, thus storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of the life that really is life.

Stewardship Testimony #1 :
Giving a Gift Returned a Better Gift!
by Wanda Ziembinski
When I was asked to do a testimony for our annual Stewardship campaign, I had to really stop and think.  Our theme this year is “Faith Filled Generosity”.  But how do you keep the faith in a year filled with so much stress and anxiety?  Of course the easy thing to say is just put all your faith in God and everything will work out. But I believe it has! We all have learned to adapt, not only in our personal lives, but also in a way that allowed us to keep our commitment to everyone at ECA, as well as our community.  He has shown us how to accomplish many things, and while doing it, we are all stronger, more resilient and connected than we have ever been before. This, however, still didn’t answer the question about my own personal faith. The Lord directed my thoughts to the piano I recently donated to ECA; and my faith and trust in Him when I was stressed out and didn’t know what to do.  God provided a plan for me to be able to decide what to do, and also to figure out how to bring a piano from NY to Georgia during a pandemic.  My faith not only gave ECA a beautiful piano for everyone to enjoy, it gave me an even better gift. Every Sunday I get to picture my friend sitting at the piano very happily playing along with Joe. The more I thought about it, the more I realized my faith brought me many gifts this year, for which I am very thankful.  I hope everyone will look into their hearts and see the many gifts you have received and also be thankful. -- Wanda Ziembinski
