The Season after Epiphany at ECA

 "Our Mission is to bear witness to God's love and invite, encourage, and prepare God's people to share that grace with others." 

The ECA Chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King hosting New Members Meeting THIS Sun. The ECA Chapter of the DOK is accepting new members who want to learn how to pray and serve God incorporating the Rule of Life.  Beginner classes will be hosted on Feb. 12 & 19 after the 10:30am Service in the Activities Building.  Please contact Pam Weed at 678-668-6960 to learn more.  The first meeting of the DOK will be February 26 (location TBD). 

Southern Comforters to Meet This Sunday after Services All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends. This ministry meets on the third Sunday of each month after services in the activities building. 

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper February 21st at 6pm Don’t miss the fun and fellowship! Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper is Feb. 21 at 6pm hosted by ECA Youth. IHOP has donated pancake batter, bacon and sausage for the event. Adults are $7, Children are $4 and Families are $20.  We will also have a short service including the Litany of the Burning of Ashes and the "Burying" of our “Alleluia” for Lent.  

Ash Wednesday Services February 22nd at Noon and 7:00pm Mark your calendar for Ash Wednesday Services with the Imposition of Ashes at Noon & 7 PM (you may also request a Eucharistic visit for ashes). This marks the start of the season of Lent. The Wednesday Evening Lenten Program begins March 1 at 6:30pm.

Reach Serving Dinner to the un-housed population Wednesday, Feb. 22nd at 4pm All are invited to join the ECA Reach ministry in preparing and delivering a meal to the homeless population every 4th Wednesday of the month at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Travel Sized toiletries are also being collected for this outreach. We meet at ECA at 4pm to prep, and carpool to Shady Grove.

Dominoes Adult Game Night Friday, February 24 at 7pm – Invite a Friend! Join us for adult fellowship time playing Mexican Train Dominoes! Bring a simple snack to share and your favorite beverage. Dominoes Group typically meets the last Friday of each month. Newcomers are always welcome!

Altar Flower Sign Up for 2023 Available

Two Steps to Sign Up! Fist, reserve your date by writing you name on the Altar Flower Calendar in the Narthex. More than one person may sign up for a Sunday. Next, fill out a form to include your dedication and return in the box on the door. Thank you for supporting the ECA Altar Flower Ministry!

Mark your Calendar! The Lenten Season is Quickly Approaching Join us on Wednesday evenings 3/1 – 3/22 at 6:30pm for dinner and the Lenten Program. This year, we will be participating in "Unlocking The Easter Code, A 40-day Lenten Journey". There will be a sign-up sheet in the Narthex to provide dinner items for each week. The program will begin at 7:00pm for those who wish to participate in the discussion only.

Reach Collecting Food items for Local Food Pantries, Thanks for your Support    ECA supports local charities Never Alone and Papa’s Pantry in their food ministries.  Please bring donations Sundays before worship. Now collecting nonperishable food and travel size toiletries. Thank you for supporting these local charities!
