ECA Annual Ladies British Tea Party Planning Committee Meeting This Wed. Jan. 25^th. Anyone interested in joining the Planning Committee is invited to attend the first meeting on Jan. 25 at 1pm.  We need your creativity, ideas, and planning to make this the best tea yet!  Reach out to Carol Scheidler or Cheryl Farr with any questions. 

Reach Serving Dinner to Homeless at Shady Grove Wed., Jan. 25 at 4pm.  Our monthly opportunity to serve the unhoused at Shady Grove will be January 25. We will meet at ECA at 4:30 to pack individual meals and head to Shady Grove around 5:30. 

Our menu this month consists of Chili, cornbread, fresh fruit and cookies or brownies for dessert. If you can help provide some of the components of the meal or would like to help pack and serve the meals, please use the following link to sign up https://signup.com/go/cMynyQt

Connecting Ministry January Food & Fellowship Jan. 26^th. Come Connect with us! Dinner is Thursday, January 26 at 5pm (Cracker Barrel at Chastain and 75). This ministry exists to help connect others at ECA. All are welcome. Contact Janice Maxwell for more info. 

Dominoes: Adult Fellowship Game Night Friday, Jan. 27 at 7pm All are invited to come play Dominoes!  Bring a friend.  This group typically meets on the last Friday of each month. Bring your favorite drink and a snack to share.  

Altar Flower Sign Up for 2023 Available

There is a new sign up poster in the Narthex for Altar Flowers for 2023. Please be sure to fill out a form to include your name, date for flowers, dedication, and phone number in case of questions. Thank you for supporting the ECA Altar Flower Ministry!

Shady Grove Un-Housed Ministry Special Request The ECA Reach Ministry serves along-side Pastor Bass at Shady Grove Baptist Church to minister to the homeless population.  Pastor Bass has expressed a need for men’s jeans size 30-36. Thanks for donating to help this ministry!

Latest Update on the Demidovich Family

Irina, Natan and Timur continue to settle into their new home, and the boys are excelling at school! The family are now receiving Food Stamp benefits and Medicaid health care and are working with a refugee resettlement agency towards a holistic life plan.  We are still looking for a few items to make their new life more comfortable: A car – Irina is working on preparing for her driver’s license test and is in need of a car. If you have one to donate or sell for a compassionate price, please let us know.  A smart phone (Android preferred)– Timur is the only one in the family without a compatible phone to keep in communication with his family. Two Dressers, and low shelves for 2 bedroom closets
