Lenten Series at ECA Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm

Join us on Wednesday evenings 3/1 – 3/22 at 6:30pm for dinner and the Lenten Program. This year, we will be participating in "Unlocking The Easter Code, A 40-day Lenten Journey". There will be a sign-up sheet in the Narthex to provide dinner items for each week. The program will begin at 7:00pm for those who wish to participate in the discussion only. Reach Ministry Meeting This Sunday after the 10:30am Service in the Activity Bldg. All are welcome to come see what inreach and outreach are all about! Reach typically meets the second Sunday of each month.  

Care Givers Support Group to Meet Tuesday, March 14 at 7:30pm This group meets on the second Tuesday of each Month at 7:30pm. If you are involved with the care of someone with a terminal or chronic illness, you are invited to join a support group offering support, connection, resources, and coping strategies. Led by Robin Racoff, an experienced Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. This group is for caregivers, no patients please. Please contact Robin for details: (404) 290-1550 

ECW Ladies Gathering: Lunch March 15 & Dinner March 23 The ECW (Episcopal Church Women) Ladies Gathering fosters opportunities to get to know your fellow female parishioners.  Please join us for lunch at 11:30am on Wednesday, March 15at First Watch in Marietta (3460 Sandy Plains Road), and Dinner at 5pm on Thursday, March 23at New Lucky China in Marietta (3645 Gordy Pkwy). All are Welcome!

ECA Cultured Pearls Book Club to Meet March 16 at 2pm.  Book club meets the third Thursday of each month at 2:00 at Lillian Stanton’s house. March 16 – Olive Kitteredge by Elizabeth Strout. April 20 – The Darling Dahlias and the Cucumber Tree by Susan Wittig Albert.  Now accepting new members!

ECA Foyer Groups: Are you interested in joining a ‘Dinner Rotation’ Group?

We are assessing interest in re-starting the ECA Foyer Groups beginning this May.  If you are interested, please email ecaparish@gmail.com with your name(s) (Singles and Couples encouraged to participate) or sign up in the Narthex.  Foyer Groups are not intended to do anything, but simply be what Christians are: groups of people who gather together and love one another. Details TBD.

Now Collecting Easter Candy for Egg Hunt

ECA is asking for donations of candy for the Easter Day Egg Hunt: Help support our Annual Easter Egg Hunt by donating small individually wrapped peanut -free candies or other small items (stickers, erasers, etc.) There will be a bin in the narthex to collect donations. Thank You!

Easter Flowers Available Now

Thank you for supporting the ECA Altar Guild! Easter Lilies and flowers will be given in honor of loved ones this year. Simply fill out an Easter dedication form and turn it in at the box on the door in the Narthex. Be sure to include your name and phone number in case we have a question about your dedication.

Reach Collecting Food items for Local Food Pantries, Thanks for your Support    ECA supports local charities Never Alone and Papa’s Pantry in their food ministries.  Please bring donations Sundays before worship. Now collecting nonperishable food and travel size toiletries. Thank you for supporting these local charities! 

ECA End of Year Statements now Available.  Please pick up in Narthex   The 2022 year-end statements for tax purposes are now available to pick up in the Narthex.  If you would like yours emailed or mailed, please contact the office at ecaparish@gmail.com or call 770-928-7916.
