Volunteers STILL Needed! We need YOU: ECA Annual Parish Yard Sale THIS Friday May 13th & Saturday May 14th

To volunteer, please contact Jane at [email protected] or 770-365-8952.  Volunteers are needed to accept and sort donations from 11am – 1pm on May 7, and May 8.  Additional help is needed May 13 to set up before the sale, and May 14th (the day of the sale) beginning at 6:30am. Thank you for all you do to make this annual event a success!

Coffee Hour is Starting back up again!! Don't Miss this Sunday

We are looking forward to getting Coffee Hour back up and running again. This is a vital way for us to gather after worship and fellowship with one another. This week we will be having bloody marys and mimosas to go along with our food treats. If you would like to be a part of this ministry please conact the office or Linda MacDonald.

No Adult Christian Formation Sunday – Will Resume Next Week

Christian formation class is usually held on Sundays at 9:40 am either in person, or via Zoom. Please contact Ron Allen at [email protected] or contact Fr. Paul for Zoom meeting information. Current topics have been about how to adjust to the current climate as a faithful Christian in a divided community. 

Congratulations to All Upcoming 2022 Graduates! Please Notify the Office Please contact the church office for all children, youth and adults who are graduating from whatever level of school this year. We are planning to honor their achievements at the second service on May 22nd

ECA Single Ladies Luncheon on Thursday, May 19th at 11:30.    Single Ladies are invited to join the ECA Single Ladies Ministry for lunch at at Kani House (Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi) 2455 Towne Lake Parkway, Woodstock 30189. This ministry meets monthly for food and fellowship. Contact Janice Maxwell for more information. 

Buildings and Grounds Ministry Meeting May 23 at 7:15pm

The Buildings and Grounds Committee typically meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:15 pm in the Activities building. All are welcome! 

Volunteers Needed to Serve Dinner to Homeless Population Wednesday, May 25 at 4pm   All are invited to join the ECA Reach ministry in preparing and delivering a meal to the homeless population every 4th Wednesday of the month at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Travel Sized toiletries are also being collected for this outreach.

Southern Comforters to meet Sunday, May 22nd after the 10:30am Service (Note change of day)    This meeting has been pushed back one week due to the yard sale. All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends. This ministry typically meets on the third Sunday of each month after services in the activities building. 

Sunday Worship Volunteers Needed: Lectors, Greeters & Ushers 
Sunday worship happens each week because of numerous volunteers who participate in many areas of the worship service. Please consider volunteering for one of these ministries. Please contact Fr. Paul for more information. Thank you for serving!
Reach Collecting Food items for Local Food Pantries We Support ECA is supporting local charities such as Never Alone and Papa’s Pantry in their food ministries. You are welcome to come by on Sundays to drop off these much-needed items. Thank you for your continued generosity and support of helping those in need!
