Note: Rite I Liturgy is used for Worship Services During the Season of Lent

It’s that time of year again in our worship season where we change from Rite II services in the prayer book to Rite I. Rite I has a penitential tone that moves us to a season of self-reflection and repentance as we prepare for the Easter resurrection. This change helps draw us into a period of self-examination of our faith as we worship together.

Dominoes Adult Fellowship Game Night Meeting Friday, February 23 at 7pm Join us for adult fellowship time playing Mexican Train Dominoes! Bring a simple snack to share and your favorite beverage. Dominoes typically meets the fourth Friday of each month. Newcomers are always welcome!

ECA Reach Ministry to Serve Dinner to the Un-Housed on Wednesday, February 28 All are invited to join the ECA Reach ministry in preparing and delivering a meal to the homeless population every 4th Wednesday of the month at Shady Grove Baptist Church. We meet at the church at 4:30pm and car-pool there. Winter Clothing and Travel Sized toiletries are also being collected for this outreach.

ECW Outing to the Van Gogh Exhibit Feb. 29th The Episcopal Church Women plan to attend the Van Gogh Exhibit in Doraville on Thursday, Feb. 29th at 10:30am. The price is $35. Contact Janice Maxwell to RSVP or learn more.

Adult Christian Formation & The Bible Challenge Now Meeting Adult Christian Formation and Bible Challenge meets at 9:35am every Sunday (see Bliss Peterson to get a book). The Children/Youth CF meets on the first and third Sunday of each month (Contact Molly Norman to learn more).

Attention All Worship Volunteers/ Those interested in Volunteering for Worship! Training is March 9 at 9am We will hold a training session for all who are involved/interested on Saturday March 9th starting at 9 am. This is for current and prospective Altar Guild, Ushers, Lectors, Acolytes, and Eucharistic Ministers. Anyone who wishes to volunteer for our worship services welcome and encouraged to attend! Whether you are a long-time volunteer or have been waiting to get started, this training and fellowship session is for you.
