ECA Vision for the Future -
Strategic Planning Project

The ECA has recently begun its ECA Vision for the Future 2020 project. This strategic planning project involves research and feedback from the membership, and a strategic planning session to guide the years to come.
Fairly soon, you, as well as all key contacts from the ECA membership, will receive this survey designed by our partner in this, The Learning Studio. Please look for this survey link and take a few moments to complete the survey to provide us the valuable member feedback we need. Also, please forward to others in your office you feel would benefit the ECA from their input.

NECA Call for Proposals for all
Convention Education Sessions

Last year at NECA's Annual Convention and Trade Show, a number of NECA contractors shared their best practices in topics such as prefabrication, project selection and social media strategy. This year, NECA is seeking even more members to speak during
NECA 2020 Chicago
.
With presentations both during the NECA Convention and on the Trade Show floor, there are many opportunities to highlight ways NECA member firms have improved processes, created efficiencies and prevented headaches.
NECA requests that you submit proposals to speak on these best practices to benefit the whole industry.
The deadline for this opportunity is March 11, 2020.

This one-day class, designed specifically for NECA’s small and medium-sized contractors, will bring in three experts to discuss the essential elements of finance, insurance and risk, and legal issues that all contractors need to know. On the financial side, the experts will examine topics such as indirect costs, work in process, financial statements, and profit fade. They will cover key protections for managing your risk and the essential insurance policies you must have. And finally, they will discuss important changes to overtime laws, guidance for drafting and interpreting product and services contracts, and provide you with best practices for workplace investigations.
The program will be held on April 24, 2020 at the Westin Hotel in Itasca, Illinois. Registration information is to follow soon!
