Message from Therese Gabriel
Just a reminder to share the HOL Newsletter with all the members of your Faith Community. As their elected delegate to the HOL it is important that you inform everyone of the happenings in the HOL and ECC.

I also want to remind you that YOU are our eyes and ears for the ECC Communion between Synods so we look forward to hearing from you about the good you are doing or any concerns your Community may have!

HOL Steering Committee has plans in the near future for an All Delegates Zoom Meeting. We will be announcing dates and time shortly.
Welcome to Deacon Tammy Fuqua
Deacon Tammy Fuqua submitted her application for incardination into our ECC Diocese of California and it was approved by our Ordinary of the Diocese, Bishop Armando Leyva. Bishop Armando thought Deacon Tammy would fit well at Holy Angels Church based upon her personal gifts, graces and her passion for ministry on Social Justice issues, one of our four Guiding Values ("To work toward racial and social justice, and reach out to those in need, as expressions of our faith").

The Holy Angels Parish Council affirmed and voted unanimously in favor and so did all the registered members.

Welcome Deacon Tammy!
Our Diocesan Mission
The ECC Diocese of California's Mission in Durango, Mexico, is about to finish their local church building!

As they share their gratitude and deep joy by sending pics to us every week about the unfolding of their building process, we rejoice with them and keep praying for all of them.

Holy Angels is happy to have committed with all the other parishes and missions of the Diocese to support financially this new community in need, and we look forward to the Consecration of their church building that our clergy and other priests of the Diocese (and whoever might want to fly over with them) will attend and some point this year.

Gathering to Walk Together
The Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of Mid-America executive committee and parish members recently met at Manresa Retreat Center in St. Louis, Missouri to become better acquainted with each other and discuss diocesan business. Presiding BishopPablo and Bishop Frank Krebs led the group in activities directed at discussion and consensus. The 12 members attending represented clergy and laity of all the diocese parishes except San Damiano of Arkansas. The group had many laughs during its time together along with deep discussion. The Executive Committee was given the direction to reopen nominations for a new Bishop. Rev. Dewayne Messenger will be creating a new ECDMA website to better reflect the diocese in transition as it moves forward.
