Dear ECC Family

As we plan for the upcoming Holy Synod there are many things to prepare for.  The Synod Planning team has always strived to develop ways to be more inclusive and hopefully now that we have a virtual option, more of our ECC family can participate.  We have come up with another opportunity for participation that we would like EVERYONE in the ECC to be a part of.

As you know the theme this year is Passing the Torch. Our plan is to have a large torch structure at the Synod.  We would like the “torch” to be filled with the colors of fire…hundreds of colorful ribbons with every shade of 

REDS

ORANGES

YELLOWS

GOLDS

and even some BLUES.

We want the ribbons to be marked with our hopes and dreams for passing the torch in the ECC.

Over the next few weeks, your HOL and HOP Delegates will be providing ribbons at the weekly Masses for everyone to write their hopes for ECC. They will then bring these ribbons with them to Synod, using them to create the "torch" at Synod. All of the ribbons from all of our members will be used to create this beautiful sculpture, filled with the hopes of every member of the ECC.
