Community Service Opportunity

The Howard County COAD will be using our gym on Saturday afternoon to pack emergency readiness kits. 1,000 kits will be prepared and then given to the COAD organizations for distribution to Howard County residents. In addition to providing a place for packing, our church will also be receiving some of these kits for our outreach ministries.

How can you be a part of this community project?

*You can help pack the kits this Saturday, 2-4pm in the gym. We have 15 different organizations participating with including FEMA, OEM, Libraries, Salvation Army and other local churches.

*You can join a ministry in distributing the kits either

door-to-door or at a church event.

Community Service hours are available for this activity.

If interested, register ASAP!

We are opening registration to the public.

Our ECC 30 Day Step Challenge is drawing to a close. Thank you to EVERYONE who was involved. By Sabbath morning we should have nearly arrived in South America, ready to enjoy some warmer weather!!

This meetup is promoted by the Black Veg Society and the Maryland Vegan Eats and hosted by the Urban Life Center.
