Building Skills to Talk with your kids about Race and Racism
through role-playing, conversation, practice and fun this workshop will help white parents develop and activate the skills needed to build our and our children's systemic awareness; develop compassion with ourselves and each other as we tackle this topic; and practice talking about race and racism to interrupt the ways we socialize white children into white supremacy. Saturday, 1/26/19 2-4:30 p.m. at Third Street Counseling (120 E. Third Street, Eagle, CO). Sliding scale $10-$45. Childcare provided.
