Spring  Parent/Teacher Conferences
Conferences will take place on the following dates:
Lower School April 12 and 19
5th/6th and 7th Grades:   April 8, 12 and 19
7th Grade (Miss Bell): April 8, 12 and 19
8th Grade conferences:  Thursday, May 23rd 8:15 - 2:00

To help us celebrate 25 years, we are going techno!  Nomination forms will be online.  Online submissions due by Thursday, 4/18/19. Paper forms will not be issued this year. To nominate your favorite Educator, click here.
Crayola Marker Drive
Bring in old crayola markers that do not work anymore and they will be reused and made into new markers. We encourage you to bring any old markers in so that we can help our environment.
Band I & II
Thank you for the great performance at the Hawk Awards last Friday. YOU  WERE GREAT!!! I am leaving for Europe this week for performances and  workshops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I will be gone April 3, 10
and 17. We will resume rehearsals on April 24. Please practice while I am  out of the country. Have a great Easter. Mr. "G".
Box Top Competition
Grade Level Box Top Competition
Ends Wednesday May, 1st.
Earn your class a pizza party. 
Drop off your box tops in the Hawkroom cut, counted, and in a baggie that says your child's grade.

Proceeds go to playground & athletics

We are looking for a volunteer for each grade level to assist in the box top competition. It's a great way to get some volunteer hours! Please contact Kim Anderson if interested (jakimanderson@yahoo.com)
Maker's Club - Final Session
Sign up now for the final session of Maker's Club. Held on Thursdays 3:20 - 4:30 p.m. starting on April 18th. Open to grades 5 - 8. Click here for registration information.
New Family Mentors
We are looking for New Family Mentors for the 2019-20 school year !  Please consider joining us in welcoming new ECCA families and be a point person.  If you're interested, please attend the Community Outreach Committee meeting on Weds, April 24 from 8:15-9:00 or let Alicia or Kim know if you're interested. No qualifications needed. 
NEW Instructions for Volunteer Finger Printing
Please click here to view the protocol offered now for fingerprinting. It is no longer available in the valley. This process is only required ONCE in your time at ECCA to be added to our list of approved volunteers and is a necessary process for any school volunteering.

Charter Garb
Order and pay for your Charter Garb through ecca.org. Orders will be delivered to your student's classroom at the beginning of the following week.
The Charter Garb store will be open for business on Mondays at pick up (3:00-3:45) and Fridays after drop off (8:00 - 8:30 a.m.).

Are you dealing with hardship? Grief can be crippling. If you are in need of assistance join the Grief Recovery Support Group beginning January 16. Details are available here. 

Students 4th - 12th grades come play basketball with officers from the Avon Police Department. Tuesdays, 11/4/19 - 4/9/19 at the Avon Elementary Gym 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
