REMINDERS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
Important Request from the Principal

During morning drop off, please refrain from allowing students to exit your car before they are able to step onto the sidewalk.  It is extremely unsafe with the snow/ice build up to allow kids out of the car prior to getting to the sidewalk curb.  Thanks for keeping us safe!
IMPORTANT CHANGE TO OUR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM BEGINNING THIS TUESDAY, 1/21/20

Due to demand, Tuesdays will now require a reservation for students in grades K-3 to attend our After School program. Please see the below sign. Please sign up one child per slot as spaces are limited. Thank you

Computer Club
Another session of Computer Club is upon us. First come, first served. Space is limited. Computer Club is offered on Thursdays, 3:20 - 4:00 p.m. for grades K-3 and on Tuesdays, 3:20 - 4:00 p.m. to grades 4-8.

Pink Vail

Box Tops Competition
Box Top Competition is ON! The grade submitting the most box tops by Friday, February 14th, 2020 will win pizza for their entire grade! Please drop Box Tops, (that have not expired) into the appropriate grade bag outside the office in a baggie or envelope labeled with Grade, # of Box Tops.  Thank you for supporting ECCA via your Box Tops!
Attendance Policies
Please call the  attendance  line at (970) 926-0656 and press 1 to report your child's absence.

In a continued effort to keep illness to a minimum, please follow the rule of 24 hours...post episodes of diarrhea, vomiting and fever before returning to school. THANK YOU!
Fingerprint Procedures
New Fingerprint Procedures  
This is for anyone who has not completed fingerprints before - if you are unsure as to whether or not you have fingerprints on file with the district please email Jenn Sassi at  jennifer.sassi@eagleschools.net
This is something you only need to do one time at ECCA or any district school.

This company Colorado Fingerprinting does not need a coupon code, yay!
Please make sure to fill out the online application.

**Before anyone can participate in any field experience, practicum, internship, employment, or other placement, they must pass a background check. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have both contracted with two third-party vendor, IdentoGO® and Colorado Fingerprinting, to take fingerprints. This electronic process is far faster than the old fingerprint card method. NO REIMBURSEMENTS WILL BE ISSUED.

Depending on what role the person is applying for, please follow the steps below to complete the background check requirement:

*  The ECSD CBI unique code is 1417ETNI
* The Billing Code: 1417ECSDNonLic
*  Locate an Enrollment Center convenient for you.
*  You will be prompted to complete the pre-enrollment process by entering CBI and FBI information required for your specific background check.
*  During your 10-minute appointment at the Colorado Fingerprinting Enrollment Center, a technician will quickly and accurately complete the process by performing ID verification, fingerprint capture, photo capture, and signature image capture in compliance with CBI and FBI requirements.
*  Payment is collected from the applicant via credit/debit card, if you do not use the billing code provided the fee is $39.50 for the CBI/FBI check in addition to a $10 vendor fee.
*   Results are returned to ECSD within 3/5 business days.
*  In the rare event that your prints are rejected for print quality (less than 1%), you will automatically be notified via your preferred method of contact (email or phone) with automated links to reschedule an appointment at no charge.
* ECSD is unable to provide fingerprint results.

The Charter Garb store will be open on Fridays at
drop off. You can also order and pay for your Charter Garb through ecca.org. Orders will be delivered to your student's classroom the following week.    Don't miss out on the bargain bin with discounted items/colors starting at $5.00 each.

Hip Hop

Band I and II
Band has officially started! Band I will meet in the  music room on Monday's from 3:25-4:20, Band II will meet on Wednesdays during lunch. Our rehearsals will follow the  school calendar. The cost is $9.00 per class, billed directly to you. 

Patterns of Joy Sewing
