School Updates
Dear ECCA Families,

At this time we are not scheduling our typical Back to School Nights.  In the past, our purpose has been to bring our community together to share the state of the school and give parents an overview of what to expect throughout the year at each grade level.

Since we've already hosted grade level parent meetings to share our plans and protocols for in-person and online learning, and we have a limited ability to look to far ahead, we feel that our best approach is to continue hosting parent coffees and virtual meetings as needed to stay up to date with current situations and plans. Please do not hesitate to reach out to classroom teachers or administration if you have questions regarding in-person or online learning.

As far as sharing our "State of the School" with families, we continue to post updated budget information to our website at ecca.org.  Unfortunately we do not have any updated assessment results to report as we were not able to host state testing last spring due to COVID 19.  We will continue to share information related to Charter Schools in Colorado as we watch the legislative season, but you can always find out more at Join COCAN .

We look forward to a wonderful year back with your children!

  • If you need to pick up your child early for an appointment, please park your car, walk in to the front vestibule and use the intercom system to communicate with us. At that time, we will call your student down to the office.
  • When dropping off or picking up your children, please PULL ALL THE WAY AROUND to the next car or to the STOP SIGN to be considerate of cars following behind you.
  • Please park in the lot if you need to get out of your vehicle for any reason.
After School
Dates + Times
From: 3:15pm - 5:55pm Daily

Kindergarten - 4th Grade only starting Tuesday, 9/8/20. After School will remain open to K-2 only next week.
Enrollment Form
The Enrollment Form is mandatory before attending the ECCA After School Program. However, it does not guarantee your child a spot. We will do our best to meet all requests. Be sure to fill out your expected After School schedule at the end of the form.

The Enrollment Form can be found by clicking here.

Included in the Enrollment Form is the ECCA After School Program Policies and Procedures. Please save a copy for your records. The Program Policies and Procedures can be found here.
Cost
$16.00 for each normal day (3:15pm - 5:55pm) a child attends ECCA's After School Program.

$32.00 for each half day / noon release (12:00pm - 5:55pm)

Students are charged to their SchoolPay.com accounts. Please be sure to load money onto these accounts prior to the students' attendance in After School. This is done by logging into their PowerSchool account.
How do I know which days my child(ren) are signed up for After School?
A schedule will be pushed out to parents each Wednesday for the upcoming week. This allows ECCA to fairly allocate spots. Siblings will be grouped together. A waitlist will be generated for each day. The After School program is beginning the year with 15 spots available to K - 2 Families.
If you need to make any changes to the schedule or wish to swap with another family, please email the program Director, Rebecca Wirth at rebecca.wirth@eagleschools.net with any changes.
Because space is limited, ECCA will assign days to families each week, as equitably as possible. Student accounts will be automatically charged unless we receive notification to remove a student 24 hours in advance.
**We are not accepting Drop Ins this school year**
Pick Up Procedures
Parents and guardians are to enter the front doors of the school and wait in the front Foyer. CALL Rebecca Wirth at 970.390.6903 to have your child(ren) brought out. Parents will then sign out their child(ren) in the Sign Out book in the front foyer. Parent access to the building is restricted at this time.
* During sunny weather, look for us on the Playground.
Important Information
As much as possible, ECCA's After School Program will be held outside. Once the weather begins to turn, the program will be held in the gymnasium. Indoors, masks will be mandatory and students will be asked to socially distance as much as possible.
A snack will be provided daily in the form of a prepackaged individual serving.
charter garb
Charter Garb
The Charter Garb store will NOT be open for business as usual.

Order and pay for your Charter Garb through ecca.org.
At this time, all orders will need to be made online.  Orders will be delivered to your student's classroom. We are happy to accommodate exchanges when sizes and colors are available. Please send the items back in with your students with instructions.

The free charter garb bucket is in the front foyer. Please help yourself.
Drop Off/Pick Up Updates

Grade level specific information will continue to be shared by teachers as we further refine these procedures

  • Masks are required on ECCA's campus
  • Students will enter & exit the building through assigned doors (as cohorts)
  • Parent access to the building is restricted at this time
  • Please help us maximize social distance & limit congregating on sidewalks by dropping off from 8:15 - 8:25am
Drop Off 8:15-8:25

Please know that if you drop your child off prior to 8:15 there is no supervision in the parking lot or on the playground. Adult supervision is provided starting at 8:15 every morning.  For their safety, please have children exit the vehicle from the right side only (curbside).

If you exit your vehicle to escort your child, please wear a mask.

Pick Up 3:15
We anticipate using the entire length of the curb to separate cohorts for pick up.  Student pick up is curbside only (the far right lane). Once your child is safely in your vehicle, you may pull into the inside lane and proceed to the exit.  The "inside lane" is only to be used for exiting.

If your child is not available at the time you are picking up, we will ask you to pull into the inside lane and re-enter the carpool queue.

Use our crosswalks when moving to and from parked cars for your safety.

Notes From The Business Office

After School visits are now charged to Food Service accounts.

For easier tracking, After School charges (along with Lunch charges) will be billed to each student's Food Services account.  This is great news because now you will have instant access to dates and charges, and balance remaining in each student account for After School and Lunches together - in the Food Service section of your Schoolpay.com account.

Please remember that payments for After School and Lunch are due in advance, or at the time of service.  Please make your payments in the Food Service section of your Schoolpay.com account. If you have any questions please contact Linda Tierney at
