Once a year, the Episcopal Church in Connecticut gathers together for worship, prayer, listening, learning, and to conduct the business of our Diocese at our Annual Convention. This year's Annual Convention will take place on Oct. 24–25 in Bristol, CT.
As we prepare for our 241st Annual Convention, everyone across ECCT (whether delegates or not!) is invited to join us for our pre-Convention Budget and Resolution listening sessions.

Join the submitters of all our 2025 Resolutions to learn more about how each resolution was shaped and how they will invite us to grow in faith, live in hope, and serve in love. Bring your questions! Full resolution text available on ECCT’s website.

Annual Convention, Nominations Open Until Sept. 26
Do you know someone whose gifts, experience, and skills could benefit ECCT? Do you feel called to serve in leadership?
Consider nominating yourself or someone else, with their permission of course, for one of our open positions. Nominations but be completed online by September 26.
Open Positions include:
- Deputy to The General Convention of The Episcopal Church (lay or clergy)
- Member of Standing Committee (lay or clergy)
- Member of Mission Council (lay or clergy)
- Delegate to Province 1 (lay or clergy)

Join us for ECCT's Pride Worship Service: Sept. 12
Join the Episcopal Church in Connecticut at Christ Church Cathedral, Hartford, on Friday, September 12 at 6 PM, for a service of prayer and music celebrating God's "Fabulously Made" LGBTQ+ community and allies.
The service will be followed by light refreshments. Validated parking available at MAT Garage across Church Street from the Cathedral.

ECCT at The Hartford Pride Event: Hosted by Christ Church Cathedral, Sept. 13
Join Christ Church Cathedral's Clergy and LGBTQIA+ Ministry Team at the Cathedral's booth during The Hartford Pride Event on Saturday, September 13 from 12–6 PM.
The booth will be located at Trumbull and Pratt Street in downtown Hartford.

Looking for a Province I Representative to the UTO Board
The United Thank Offering, a ministry of The Episcopal Church that supports innovative mission projects and promotes thankful giving, welcomes applications from anyone living in Province I of The Episcopal Church (which includes ECCT) interested in serving on the ministry’s board.
Applications require an endorsement letter from an Episcopal Church leader.

Bishops' Corner: Trinity College Chapel Preacher & Book Talk | | | | |
The Reverend Canon Leyla King is a Palestinian American Episcopal priest and writer. She is a founding member of Palestinian Anglicans and Clergy Allies and The Small Churches Big Impact Collective. Currently, she serves as the Canon for Mission in Small Congregations for the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas.
Join Trinity College for their Sunday Chapel Service on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 4 PM. Featuring guest preacher the Rev. Cn. Leyla King. The service will be followed by a special Sunday Supper for dialogue and to hear portions of her new book, Daughters of Palestine: A Memoir in Five Generations.
