The Philadelphia Eleven Movie Screening & Panel Discussion, March 10


ECCT is celebrating Women's History Month at Christ Church Cathedral, Hartford, by premiering a special documentary screening of The Philadelphia Eleven on March 10 at 4PM.


Join Bishop Ahrens and Bishop Mello for a movie night, a panel discussion with female leaders in our diocese, and engaging group discussions facilitated by the panelists!


A freewill offering will be collected for My Sister's Place, Hartford in honor of Women's History Month.

Clergy Renewal of Vows, March 17 and March 26


Please join your Bishops and other colleagues on either March 17 or March 26 to be refreshed and renew your ordination vows. Bishop Ahrens will be the celebrant, and Bishop Mello will be the preacher. The Services for the Renewal of Ordination Vows and Blessing of Holy Oils will take place on two days for the first time to allow those who work during the day to participate. Register below:

Sunday Evening: March 17 at 5PM-7:30PM  St. John's, Waterbury
Holy Tuesday: March 26 at 10AM-1PM Christ Church Cathedral, Hartford

Connecticut Nonprofit Security Grant Program


The State of Connecticut Nonprofit Security Grant Program (CT-NSGP) is a state-funded competitive grant program that provides reimbursement to awarded nonprofit organizations for security infrastructure improvements.  Eligible applicants are 501(c) (3) organizations that are at heightened risk of being the target of a terrorist attack, hate crime, or violent act. Applications will be ranked and awarded based on the demonstrated need for security improvements.  


Maximum amount of funds available: $50,000 per facility. Applications are due by March 1, 2024.

Funds are available for young people affiliated with worshipping communities in ECCT who are attending Episcopal primary or secondary schools; or are enrolling in an undergraduate or vocational training institution in the Fall of 2024. Applicants must be under the age of 25. Please contact the Dean of Formation, for more information. Award notifications will be sent mid-April 2024.

Warden’s Call

Join Bishop Jeff and Bishop Laura for a time of community and conversation with a recurring call on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 8:30AM - 9:30AM.
