Letter from Pastor Frieda
Greetings

We had a superb missions banquet! Thanks to all of you who attended and a huge thank you to all who pledged to continue your missionary support. Welcome to all our new supporters—you are helping us accomplish our goal. We are well on our way to meeting our budget for 2020! If you have not filled out a Promise card—it is not too late. You can email me and I will set you up!

During this month of gratitude I am especially thankful for our missionaries who are faithfully spreading Kingdom news and hope to millions. They are working, praying and stretching their faith daily for house payments, church buildings, Bibles, medical supplies, or documents for adopting street children. So many avenues to do Kingdom work; each unique to that missionary.

Thank YOU for participating in God’s work around the globe!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Love and Prayers,
Frieda
Stories from the field & How you can help
Operation Christmas Child
W ow, we have received a huge stack of boxes packed with gifts for children all over the world. Thank you! Some of you still have boxes to fill, bring them in by Nov 23. I have been in Botswana where children receive these blessings—they truly make a difference and open the door for the gospel message to be received! Again, thank you!
Jerry and Jana Lackey—Botswana
The Lackeys are some of the missionaries who receive Operation Christmas Child Boxes. They use the occasion to show the Jesus film and thus introduce whole villages to the gospel. Churches have been planted in many of those areas!
Here are a few more statistics from the Lackeys in the last year:
  • 1776 messages were preached
  • 1500 were saved
  • 330 baptized
  • 360 in a discipleship program
  • 420 people counseled
  • 3 churches planted
  • Many meals served, families helped with housing and water supply
These are just a few of the things your mission dollars have accomplished in Botswana.

Praise God for the Lackeys! Praise God for the Senders!
Lisa James—Thailand
Asian Mission Outreach Foundation's annual English and Skills Program is one their most effective outreach tools that bring more young people into the Kingdom. This year the challenge was put to us by the Lord to increase our student count from about 50 last year to 100 students this year! During our weeks of advertisement the Lord kept us encouraged with the Word to "expect BIG!" We continued to declare that this ministry is God's idea and He will provide what He promised.

Though our team worked diligently to advertise at local schools, our registrations numbers were very low. Only 14 students had signed up when the first day of classes arrived, not exactly the 100 He challenged us with. We set up all the same, believing God was faithful and we would be there to serve no matter how many came. But as 5:00 came, so did a deluge of students! That day we had over 120 students sign up for the program! God was so faithful to do what He promised, He delivered BIG!
Marilyn Thomas,
Forgotten Treasures—Denver
Marilyn ministers to “Forgotten Treasures” in Nursing Homes. She and her team love those who are on their way to eternity soon. Last year they held
  • 1060 Services
  • 120 Bible Studies
  • 19,177 Ministered to which included a bilingual ministry to Spanish speakers.
This is a team of 83 volunteers from 16 churches! Encounter women have made lap blankets for this ministry and they have been a great hit!
Thank you for Prayers and donations.
