Happy New Year to all ECEDHA Members! I am glad to provide some information for ECEDHA members on the focus topic of this month: ABET Accredited Online Programs.
As most Electrical/Computer Engineering administrators and faculty know, the engineering accreditation process has been in place since 1932, starting with an organization known as ECPD. The accreditation criteria has evolved throughout the years - engineering design, engineering topics, and most recently, Engineering Criteria 2000.

Importance of Creating a Culture That Leads to Online Program Excellence
In the late sixties we became aware of the importance of active professional student organizations in leading students to earn higher grades, to develop important skills for career success, to graduate from better engineering programs, schools, and universities, and finally to experience higher levels of success in their working profession.

Latin America at ECEDHA 2017
I have had the pleasure to work with faculty and students from a number of universities in Latin America over the last few years. At this year's ECEDHA Annual Conference, we will be hosting a panel session of representatives from organizations supporting engineering education in Latin America. In this article, I would like to set the stage for this panel session by sharing some information about my experiences working with a few Latin American universities and some conferences that I have participated in in the region.
