Love, love, love! That’s what it’s all about!
‘Cause God loves us, we love each other,
Mother, father, sister, brother.
Ev’rybody sing and shout
‘Cause that’s what it’s all about!
It’s about love, love, love!
It’s about LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

As we read these words from a popular child’s song, they seem to sum up the topic of this month - LOVE. Yes, that is what this month seems to be about - hearts and valentines and love. There are probably more sentiments of love expressed during this month than any other time of the year. Your child is most likely getting excited about valentines, hearts and love. That’s what it’s all about.

But what is love really about?  The words of the song answers that question. God’s love comes first. “We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). God’s love is not the same as the love messages we give to one another this month. God’s love is completely unconditional.
How much does He love us?  He loves us so much that He stretched out His arms and died. But that’s not the end of the love story. He came back to life after three days. His love is so big, so strong, that He showed us He has power over death and the devil. His love makes us free, free to give that love to others.

That’s what love is all about!

Believe it and share it!
