Summer Professional Learning Conferences Impacting Hundreds of Hoosier Educators

ECESC staff have been honored to participate in summer professional learning conferences, including PIVOT, TecEnRIHed, KILCON, and Joy Jam. These were great opportunities for Indiana educators to reenergize and be inspired to begin the new school year with renewed purpose. It’s going to be a great 2025-2026 school year!

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (July 28)

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Training prepares school staff to prevent and de-escalate medium to high-risk behavior using both restrictive and non-restrictive methods. ECESC is proud to offer this training in July! This session is good for both initial certification and renewal. Register Here

Building Resilient Students and Schools Program Launched

Our first member districts are signing on for our Building Resilient Students and Schools program. Through onsite consultation and training, this program allows schools to utilize research-based practices to plan behavior supports to maximize student engagement and learning opportunities.

ECESC is celebrating our FOUR member districts that are part of The Future of High School Network, a nationwide innovative network, established by The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Thought Partner Spotlight

ECESC Partners with the Training Resource and Advocacy Connector and Muncie By5 to Provide CPI Training for Early Childhood Educators

On June 17, ECESC hosted nearly 40 early childhood providers (ECP) for Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention Training. Participants learned verbal de-escalation strategies through a mental health-informed lens. These ECPs developed skills to help young children with big emotions, and the participants are now certified in CPI. This training was provided by the Training Resource and Advocacy Connector (TRAC) and Muncie By5. We look forward to more connections with our East Central Indiana Early Childhood Providers to serve as thought partners for planning future opportunities.

IASP Opens Registration for The Indiana New Administrator Leadership Institute (INALI)

Our partners at IASP have opened registration for INALI Cohort 12. INALI is a two-year professional development program designed for new or early-career administrators, featuring extensive training in teacher evaluation, mentoring by retired or seasoned administrators, conferences, and regional cohort meetings.
