• All new admissions require a COVID test prior to admission to ECHC.
• The new admissions are tested again within 24 hours of bed assignment.
• ECHC has established a dedicated Admission Unit with single occupancy for all new admissions for 14 days.
• After the 14 day quarantine period and close medical monitoring, the patients then receive another COVID test prior to transfer to a different patient care unit.
• Patients are then COVID tested within 48 hours of discharge.
