Essex County officials have offered JNESO members a

4-year contract extension in lieu of negotiating.

The full membership will vote to either ratify this

contract extension or proceed to negotiations

in the Spring/Summer of 2021.

This extension would be for wage increases only.

The increases are below:

Year: Increase:

2020: 2.8%

(includes retroactive payments dating back to 01/01/2020)

2021: 2.9%

2022: 3%

2023: 3%

YOU WILL VOTE TO EITHER:

AGREE TO A 4-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH WAGE INCREASES ONLY,

REJECT THE 4-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION AND PROCEED TO NEGOTIATIONS IN THE SPRING/SUMMER OF 2021.
