ECNL IMPACT | THE YOUTH ENVIRONMENT
In March of 2009, forty youth soccer clubs from across the country came together to do something totally unprecedented - to collaboratively form a new national competition and development platform to improve the daily experience of the elite female soccer player. Putting aside rivalries, fears and disagreements, clubs and competitors committed to work together to positively change the landscape in which they interacted.
The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and the World Football Academy (WFA) have announced the second seminar in their collaboration to further coaching development and education in the top youth female development league in the world.
On July 19-20, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois, the 2-day seminar will include unique instruction from world-renowned experts in periodisation and technical development.
As part of the #BeautifulAmbition campaign, Sonia Bien-Aime and Christen Press were honored as the ECNL March March S'Hero of the Month award recipients for individual and community leadership. These two Amazing Young Women recently took the time to sit down with the ECNL and share their story!
The inaugural ECNL Composite Event will take place December 4-6, 2015 in Greensboro, NC, occurring in conjunction with the NCAA DI Women's Soccer College Cup in Raleigh, NC. These new and unique events are established to provide players from ECNL Member Clubs with additional competition structures for mixed age group teams, teams competing in non-traditional seasons, and for other development purposes. Information on how to register for the event will be distributed soon!
