World religious and spiritual visionaries, Indigenous leaders, scientists, and youth environmental activists come together to address the urgency of the climate crisis with strategies for inspired collective action.
Over forty international speakers offering wisdom and perspectives through keynote addresses and diverse panels.
FORUM2020 is proudly presented by the Temple of Understanding in collaboration with Marble Collegiate Church, New York City.

for the Earth

Join us online for a morning of prayers, affirmations and contemplations offered by Indigenous and world religious leaders and sacred music by renown international artists including Yungchen Lhamo, Samir Chatterjee and Steve Gorn, Marble Collegiate Church Choir, Marble Collegiate Church Gospel Choir.

Faith-Based Responses to Rise in Domestic Violence

Grove Harris was invited to write on faith-based responses to the rising crisis in domestic violence during Covid- 19. She wrote a blog on the issue, and a set of resources from web research, towards encouraging and amplifying faith-based actions to address this problem.

New Report on Faith Action and the SDGs

|
The United Nations Environment Programme hosted the launch of a new report, Faith Action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Progress and Outlook.
“We face major sustainability challenges in the 21st Century. Fortunately, we have a unique opportunity to implement solutions at a global scale. Faith-Based Organizations have made significant contributions, including in nature conservation, renewable energy, fossil fuel divestment, and sustainable agriculture.
This report details progress made by the Faith community toward the Sustainable Development Goals, and makes recommendations for achieving even greater impact.”

Religions for Peace webinar on ECO JUSTICE FOR ALL

The ECO JUSTICE FOR ALL interview series, produced by the Temple of Understanding, lifts up diverse perspectives on the need for an interfaith, inclusive, intersectional, multi-generational engaged effort to address the climate emergency. Grove Harris spoke at the inaugural webinar, hosted by Religions for Peace – USA. Featured videos included Chief Oren Lyons, Heather McTeer Toney, Imam Saffet Catovic and Zanagee Artis. The aim is to increase action for the environment, including voting for the climate.
