Ball Drop Raises $28,816.00

th
Annual Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. It was more successful than ever. Nearly 200 people were in attendance to enjoy live music, 45 silent auction items, tasty appetizers, an assortment of delicious French pastries, and the excitement of witnessing 2200 balls being dropped from a helicopter!
The lucky winners with the balls closest to the pin were: First prize of $2,000 to Joey Pello. Second prize of $1,000 to Joe Ramos. Third prize of $500 to James Owens.

The net proceeds from the event totaled $28,816. Navy SEAL Foundation, Community Resource Center, Boys and Girls Club Encinitas, and San Carlos Sonora Scholarship fund each received $3,582. The remaining $14,328 will be used by the Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club throughout the year to fund charitable donations to North County organizations and causes.
