Left Turns Prohibited in Active Construction Zones on El Camino Real in San Mateo County through August 28

SAN MATEO COUNTY ― To prevent gridlock and enhance safety, left turns are prohibited on State Route 82 (El Camino Real) in active construction zones within the cities of San Mateo, Burlingame, and Hillsborough. In these construction areas, only one lane of traffic is open in each direction.

Vehicles may not turn left within the following sections of El Camino Real:

• Easton Ave to Ray Dr through August 3
• Bellevue Ave to Sanchez Ave through August 14
• Hilltop Rd to Peninsula Ave through August 28

These left-turn restrictions are in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the duration of construction in each listed work zone.
