8-week classes increase focus, flexibility

Among the benefits of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC)’s eight-week class schedule, 8-Week Advantage, are being able to focus on fewer classes at a time and having more flexibility. Engineering and Electronics Technology student Eliceo Jaramillo agrees.

“After graduating high school I spent some time at a four-year university and I was taking five classes at a time,” said Jaramillo. “All the course work at the same time was pretty overwhelming. With the 8-week classes here, I don’t have to tackle so many different subjects or classes at the same time, so I can be more focused.”
