April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Every April, we recognize the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect.

At ECU Health, we're proud to support the TEDI BEAR Children’s Advocacy Center in partnership with the Brody School of Medicine of East Carolina University. In February, East Carolina University officially opened its Mount Olive Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), ushering in a much-needed resource for addressing child abuse cases in underresourced eastern North Carolina counties.
