Changes to surgery scheduling at ECU Health SurgiCenter
In November, the ECU Health SurgiCenter will be going live on Epic. In anticipation of this change, as of 10/17/22, all surgery requests for appointments scheduled on 11/7/22 or later will need to be submitted via Epic through Care Request. Surgery scheduling requests will no longer be completed on the Surgery PDF and submitted via CareLink.

ECU Health Outpatient Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy-Roanoke Rapids moving to a new location
On October 24, the ECU Health Outpatient Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy clinics in Roanoke Rapids will be relocating into a shared space at ECU Health Orthopedics-Roanoke Rapids. The new, consolidated space has been designed to improve patient, visitor and team member experience through improved access to care, shorter referral wait times and flexible appointment scheduling.

In addition to the comprehensive, multidisciplinary care available in Greenville, the pediatric specialists of ECU Health offer services throughout the region across several disciplines—cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, hematology/oncology, nephrology and pulmonology. ECU Health recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This October, ECU Health will recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month with events across the region. The annual observance is a reminder that preventive care screenings are critical to lasting health.
Throughout the month, ECU Health will provide free breast cancer screenings to eligible community members without health insurance. Additionally, we'll be attending a number of community events, including the Breast Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Ride and Concert, Scuppernong River Festival, Fall Festival, Get PINKED! And More Party, Cancer Walk and Wag, Belvidere Day and more.
