Radiology orders for ECU Health Medical Center

When sending a patient to ECU Health Medical Center for a radiology procedure requiring sedation, medical records are required. A patient's most recent office note (within the last 30 days) must be sent with the order. 


Additionally, for any ECU Health Medical Center radiology orders requiring authorization, or if a reference number was obtained from insurance, please upload this information in CareLink or fax it along with your order.

  • Fax: send in with the standardized paper order form to 252-816-0734  

ECU Health Neurology - Greenville moving to new location on July 31

Later this month, ECU Health Neurology - Greenville will be moving to 2280 Hemby Lane to combine with ECU Physicians Neurology Services. To accommodate the move, both locations will close at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26 and the newly integrated practice will re-open as ECU Health Neurology - Greenville on Monday, July 31.

Maynard Children’s Hospital celebrates 10 years serving eastern North Carolina

The Maynard Children’s Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center is celebrating its 10th year of offering high-quality, compassionate care in a soothing environment for patients and families in eastern North Carolina.


Dr. Matthew Ledoux, pediatrician in chief at Maynard Children’s Hospital, said the children’s hospital has immensely benefited the youngest patients in the East and made for more seamless care.

Schweitzer Fellows address health care issues at ECU Health sites

Four students in the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University have been named to the 2023-24 class of the North Carolina Albert Schweitzer Fellowship (NCASF) program and will spend the next year working on projects that address social factors that impact health and health care. Their projects will be completed in part at ECU Health facilities.

Medicaid Healthy Opportunities Pilot (NC HOP)

The Healthy Opportunities Pilots is the country's first comprehensive program to evaluate the impact of providing Medicaid members with evidence-based, non-medical interventions like housing navigation services, violence intervention services, fruit and vegetable prescriptions, and more.


To be eligible, members must live in a Pilot region and have at least one qualifying physical or behavioral health condition and one qualifying social risk factor.
