Reminder: Epic Hyperdrive go-live

Epic is moving Hyperspace to a web-based framework called Hyperdrive. The changes have already gone into effect for ECU Health Duplin Hospital, Central Billing Office, ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic - Belhaven, and Bed Planning. The go-live for the remainder of the system is Wednesday, June 7.

What does this mean for community providers?

Once Hyperdrive is live, all walk-in x-ray orders either provided to the patient or faxed to an ECU Health location will need to include a diagnosis code. If there is not one on the order, the patient will not be able to have their scan until a diagnosis code has been received.
