Outer Banks Health Cardiology, located in the former Eastern Carolina Cardiovascular (ECC) office in Nags Head, is now accepting new patients! While many familiar faces have remained, the process for submitting new referrals has changed.


To refer a patient, submit a request via Epic or CareLink to OBMG-Cardiology – Nags Head, or fax relevant patient notes to 252-449-5996.


Note: All appointments scheduled prior to the transition to Outer Banks Health will be honored. Patients wishing to continue their care must sign a medical records release form from ECC.

Greenville, N.C. – ECU Health Medical Center is expanding advanced heart care with two new, state-of-the-art technologies for transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement.

Perinatal addiction care now available in Greenville

The ECU Health IMPACT Clinic – one of only six programs in the state offering integrated perinatal addiction care – will begin accepting new patients on May 7. Located at Brody Outpatient Center - OB/GYN and led by Dr. David Ryan, the clinic provides opioid, alcohol and other addiction treatment, as well as access to additional resources like social work, lactation support and mental health care.

 

To refer a patient, send a request through Epic or CareLink as an AMB Referral to Addiction Medicine to ACAD Perinatal Addiction. Offices not on Epic or utilizing CareLink can select ECU IMPACT on the High Risk Obstetric Clinic referral form and fax to 252-744-5348.

Upcoming orthopedics service relocation

ECU Health Orthopedics - Greenville is moving! Starting on June 10 all physicians and advanced practice providers will begin seeing patients in our newly reonvated clinic located at 2325 Statonsburg Road.

2025 Mental Health Expo to be held in Greenville later this month

This year's Mental Health Expo will be held on Thursday, May 22 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Eastern AHEC (2600 W. Arlington Blvd.). The expo will feature more than 40 exhibitors, as well as presentations from local mental health experts on nature and mental health, living a healthy lifestyle, and marijuana and THC.
