I trust that you had a good Labor Day Weekend. Do you know the history of Labor Day and what is being celebrated and remembered? The Department of Labor website has a great article dedicated to understanding the day at --> https://www.dol.gov/general/laborday/history
This week is a focus on soccer! Learn the rules, play indoor intramural soccer and support our Soccer Team on Thursday for their first home game at 4pm.
For the weekend we are encouraging you to get out and support our local community - There is a lot of fun activities happening this weekend within a half an hours driving distance - discover more in the announcements below. Get some friends together to explore together.

Roary will be awarding one signed game ball to the most energetic and spirited fan at the game donated by the Office of Campus Involvement!

Suicide Prevention Month
To commemorate Suicide Prevention Month, the Counseling Center and Active Minds are to host a display of 1,100 memorial flags on the Danley lawn. These white flags represent, honor, and remember the 1,100 college students who die by suicide each year. The exhibit will remain in place for one week from Sept. 6 through Sept. 12. The goal of the exhibit is to raise awareness regarding the number of students that die by suicide each year. Suicide is one of the top causes of death among college students in the United States. The hope for the exhibit and signs around campus is to spread the message that mental health issues are prevalent, decrease stigma in reaching out and show support is available.
