Registration is now open for Reno Startup Week 2025, happening September 29 to October 3 and headquartered at the Reno Experience District (RED). Now in its third year, this free, weeklong celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship is presented by the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN), the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED), and the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC), with support from more than 40 local businesses, nonprofits, and agencies. The company is establishing a new facility in Dermody's Industrial Park, LogistiCenter at Kiley Ranch, in Sparks. Bitdeer's footprint spans all parts of the world and is advancing AI and hyperscale data centers in addition to expanding its cryptocurrency industry sites. EDAWN’s Business Development and Attraction Team works to secure new expansion facilities and/or relocations from new primary companies exploring the Greater Reno-Sparks market. The team acts as a concierge service for companies, providing customized market data, responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) from site selectors and companies considering major investments in both real estate and resulting in high quality employment growth for the region.
