More than 1,600 business and community leaders joined us for the State of the Economy in Northern Nevada luncheon. We shared regional progress, welcomed new companies, and highlighted job growth over the past year. Despite national headwinds, Northern Nevada continues to move forward with focus and purpose. EDAWN helped advance more than 500 jobs and continues to advance over 50 active projects, reinforcing our region’s strength and long term competitiveness.

The company is occupying a 72,380-square-foot facility in Reno, creating 62 new jobs with an average wage of $55.50 per hour and investing $18.4 million in capital.

The Grass Valley, CA company will be expanding its operations and machining capabilities within a +/-26,000 square foot facility in Carson City. Their new facility will create 20 jobs with an investment of more than $500,000 in capital.

Induction Hardware operates within the sustainable electric kitchen appliance sector, focusing on smart induction ranges, cooktops, and outdoor cooking solutions.
Founded locally, the company operates within an 11,000-square-foot facility in South Reno and will create 30 new jobs over the next two years.

The combined company is projected to reach $5.4 billion in pro forma revenue in 2025, expanding national scale and market strength. The growth in such a short time has been remarkable, driven by the strength and dedication of its members and contractors. IBEW 401 contractors have been outstanding at securing jobs across the electrical industry, helping power the region’s continued progress.
IBEW 401 and the JATC, the Northern Nevada Electrical Training Center, are located side by side. As the union has grown, the Training Center has expanded its classes to ensure the industry is properly trained through a strong apprenticeship program. The program graduates top tier union electricians who keep the electrical industry powered by skilled and dedicated men and women.
