This hands-on opportunity allows UNR students to support marketing, communications, and community development initiatives that showcase Northern Nevada’s innovation and business growth.


*Eligible applicants must be degree-seeking students majoring or minoring in the College of Business, Engineering, Science, or Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources.

Company Announcements:

Type III is a form generation technology company that provides tools for creating forms, collecting and managing data, and contract manufacturing for military grade-consumer electronics. Type III will be adding 30 jobs at $50 per hour as the average wage and their capital investment is $2 Million. 

EDAWN’s Business Development and Attraction Team works to secure new expansion facilities and/or relocations from new primary companies exploring the Greater Reno-Sparks market. The team acts as a concierge service for companies, providing customized market data, responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) from site selectors and companies considering major investments in both real estate and resulting in high quality employment growth for the region.
