This annual event highlights the Primary Companies that drive our region’s economic growth. These companies generate most of their revenue from outside Nevada, creating jobs, bringing in new dollars, and helping make our economy stronger and more resilient.

Intex plans to establish 50 employees within the next few years at an average wage of $34 per hour. | | Queensboro Industries is an e-commerce company specializing in custom logo apparel and promotion products for businesses. Since 1983, the company has been distributing brands by Adidas, Brooks Brothers, Carhartt, Columbia, Puma, Sport-Tek, Spyder & North Face. Queensboro Industries has expanded into a 17,575 square foot facility in Reno. The company will be establishing 40 new jobs in the next few years with an average wage of $25 per hour. | |

The team acts as a concierge service for companies, providing customized market data, responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) from site selectors and companies considering major investments in both real estate and resulting in high quality employment growth for the region.

Last week, EDAWN hosted a special night at the ballpark for our local Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs). Representatives from many different groups, including GOED, StartupNV, UNR, and several others, joined us for an evening of baseball, conversation, and connection.
This gathering was about more than cheering on the home team, it was about strengthening the ties between the organizations that work every day to support entrepreneurs across Northern Nevada.
