Mastermind Session: Business Financials

In this interactive session, you will meet with subject matter experts to learn their best practices and the key points they believe business owners should focus on, including:
  • Understanding financial statements
  • How to analyze the income statement
  • Gross profit and break-even
Participants will be encouraged to ask questions, share resources and knowledge and to learn from other business owners.

Member Requests
Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs are researching Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in economic development within rural Ontario. They are interested to learn about common practices involving DEI across the province with potential application to rural communities, municipalities, or small population centres. An aggregated report from this survey will be shared with the Economic Developers Council of Ontario and a future Teeny Tiny Summit.

The Sustainable Northern Ontario Economic Development course provides the
foundation you need to understand and promote economic and social development in Northern Ontario. Learn about opportunities and challenges, strategies for economic development, and more!

Who is This Course For?
  • Economic development professionals
  • Government officials and politicians
  • Those interested in sustainable regional economic development
  • Professionals that are new to the field who want to solidify their knowledge

The 12 module course is spread over 12 weeks. It is offered in both English and French.
