ROLE OVERVIEW


EDGE is looking for a Philanthropic Partnership Director, to lead its fundraising efforts and to support its governance restructuring process. The Philanthropic Partnership Director will play an important role in supporting EDGE’s mission through fundraising efforts. Strong candidates will be self-starters who have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask. We're interested in hiring a dynamic, innovative individual with a proven track record of fostering strong donor relationships. As a small organization, our team works collaboratively to achieve our goals, and the Philanthropic Partnership Director will have the opportunity to collaborate on strategic planning, program creation, and budgeting processes. For at least the first 12 months, this role will also include supporting the process of collaboratively transforming EDGE’s organizational structure and governance. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


In the capacity of Philanthropic Partnership Director, the new EDGE staff will spearhead a multifaceted role. This includes orchestrating a robust fundraising strategy, cultivating relationships with funders, and actively contributing to major gift programs and grant management. Concurrently, the Director will play a pivotal role in organizational restructuring, overseeing a collaborative effort to shape a new governance structure (~25% of role). Responsibilities extend to coordinating a working group, gathering stakeholder input, and maintaining transparent communication with both the board and broader membership regarding restructuring progress. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of fundraising for nonprofits. We're looking for individuals with strong knowledge of fundraising strategies, experience in developing donor materials, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate the organization's mission effectively. Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency in holding collaborative spaces, strong interpersonal skills for relationship-building, a collaborative mindset, adaptability to changing circumstances, and a clear commitment to social justice values. ROLE TYPE: Full time


SALARY AND BENEFITS : USD $95,000 - $105,000 annual salary range plus a generous benefit package.


LOCATION: Remote, worldwide. Please know that the current team works in US Coastal Time and European Central Time, and some overlap throughout the day with these two time zones is required.


TRAVEL: This role will involve frequent travel. The final schedule will be decided with the staff.
