EDGE New Jersey (EDGE NJ) is seeking a strategic, relationship‑driven fundraising leader to serve as
its first Director of Development.
This is a rare chance to build a modern development program from the ground up and lead a multiyear capital campaign that will bring New Jersey’s first permanent Pride & Wellness Center to life—a transformational investment in LGBTQ+ health, dignity, and belonging.
As EDGE NJ enters a period of extraordinary growth, the Director of Development will shape the organization’s philanthropic identity, deepen donor relationships, and expand private revenue at a moment when community need, visibility, and momentum are all rising.
This role is ideal for a mission‑driven, entrepreneurial fundraiser who thrives in a builder’s environment and is energized by designing systems, strategies, and donor experiences rooted in authenticity and care.
The Director will lead major gifts and individual giving, serve as internal lead for the capital campaign, cultivate corporate partnerships, elevate fundraising communications, and strengthen the infrastructure that will sustain EDGE NJ for decades to come.
