We need your help in following new health and safety recommendations. As we navigate the unknown, our priority continues to be the health and safety of El Dorado Hills residents, and EDHCSD staff.
By following recommendations, we can make challenging, yet informed public health decisions.
National Recreation and Parks Association
(NRPA)

is encouraging park and recreation departments to
temporarily close playgrounds and play structures
to reduce the chances of spreading COVID-19.
"Given the current situation and the guidance from public health officials on physical distancing, limiting in-person social interactions, avoiding spaces where people congregate in close quarters, and the concerns around transmission of the virus being spread through surfaces, we believe that playgrounds and play structures should
temporarily
close in an effort to reduce community spread."

Today, more than ever, we need the
community to work together to help keep El Dorado Hills Parks open. You can do this by
following local, state, Federal and CDC health guidelines, as well as practicing social distancing at all parks and open spaces.
We know that access to nature through parks and green spaces offer important physical and mental health benefits. Following public health guidance, and practicing physical distancing is important because we want these spaces to continue to be accessible.
To protect residents and staff, and to slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19 in our region, El Dorado Hills Community Services District (EDHCSD) has implemented the following closures for public safety:
Closures Effective April 7, 2020
- All Playgrounds
- Community Park Dog Park
- Basketball Courts
- Tennis Courts
- Bocce Courts
- Batting Cage
For the health & safety of all, we ask that you respect these temporary closures.
Private Property Reminder
Bass Lake is private property, and is not available for public use. Signs have been taken down, fences have been damaged, and the Sheriff was called over the weekend. Please respect our law enforcement officers, and obey any No Trespassing signs. Together we are stronger!
