Many of you knew Mr. Michael and worked with him at the building sites. Mr. Michael co-founded Edisto Habitat for Humanity in 1989 and worked to build more than 75 homes for over two decades. Following his retirement from his forestry business in 1996, Mr. Michael made his commitment to Habitat a full-time job. For many years he did all of the volunteer coordinating buying, coordinating of subcontractors, and physically worked on every home.
Mr. Michael also worked with the Boy Scouts of America, was a long-time member of the Lions Club, and was an active member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
We look forward to having you join us on January 21, 2023.
